A 48-year-old male was found shot in the knee at the 3000 block of West Lanvale Street, city police said.
Officers located the victim sitting in his vehicle at approximately 5:51 p.m. Monday, police said.
The victim told detectives he was shot somewhere near Greenmount Avenue. Detectives are currently trying to locate a crime scene, police said.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and has a non-life-threatening injury, police said.
