A 38-year-old male was shot in the 4600 block of Lanier Avenue Sunday, police said.
Northern District officers were dispatched to investigate a reported shooting at approximately 5:12 p.m. and found the victim suffering from gunshots wounds, police said.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Northern District Shooting detectives investigated the scene assumed control over the investigation, police said.
