Baltimore County residents can now sign up to receive free flu shots that will be given at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium next weekend, the county announced today.

Appointments are required to get your free vaccination at the Super Weekend clinic scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17 and Oct. 18, at the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, located at 2200 York Road.

Appointment can be made by visiting www.baltimorecountymd.gov/flu.

Holding this event at the fairgrounds helps support social distancing, the county said. Attendees must also wear a face covering at the event.

Free flu vaccinations will be available while supplies last. Vaccines are given on a first come, first served basis. The county is asking residents to wear short-sleeved or sleeveless shirts for quick and easy access to the portion of the arm where the vaccination is administered.

For more information on the Super Weekend flu vaccination clinic, call 410-887-3816 or visit www.baltimorecountymd.gov/flu.
