Baltimore City police on Thursday found a 51-year-old bus driver dead from gunshot wounds in the 1200 block of E. Fayette Street.
The Southeast District patrol officer said he saw and chased the shooter but he escaped.
Homicide detectives were investigating the incident, and found that the shooter and bus driver had argued. Officers said the suspect pulled out a gun, shot the driver and fled on foot.
