The Baltimore City police Thursday were investigating three separate shootings that left two young men dead and three others wounded.

In the homicide investigation in Southwest Baltimore, officers said two young men, ages 18 and 19, were found with gunshot wounds. The 18-year-old was apparently shot around 2:37 p.m. Wednesday in the 4600 block of Colherne Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The 19 year old was found around 11:43 a.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of Ramsay Street, police said. The man was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.

In the Western and Eastern districts, police were investigating two shootings.

Police said a 22-year-old man was found Tuesday around 11:23 p.m. in the 2600 block of East Chase Street, with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

On Wednesday, police said a 26-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were found with gunshot wounds in the 1900 block of Penrose Avenue. Police said officers were called to the scene after they got a ShotSpotter alert around 10:44 p.m.
