Sixteen of Maryland’s 24 jurisdictions have already met or surpassed their 2010 self-response rate for the U.S. Census as of Tuesday morning, the governor’s office reported today.
The self-response rate for Maryland is 69.5 percent while the current national response rate is 66.1 percent.
Maryland is a top-10 state for self-response with 70.3 percent of households participating and a total of 96.6 percent of households enumerated.
