A 70-year-old woman who went missing was found dead in Prince George’s County, county police said.
Betty Defazio went missing on Sept. 6 and was last seen at the Regal Inn in the 8000 block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale, police said.
She left her hotel room to get cigarettes and never returned. Family members tried calling her but it went straight to voicemail, police said.
Detectives are investigating her death and are working jointly with Prince George’s County Police, police said.
