A 71-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash Wednesday near the corner of Eastern Avenue and 48th Street in Dundalk, county police said.

A Baltimore County school bus turned left onto 48th Street to deliver meals to a school when it was hit from behind by a Honda motorcycle travelling east on Eastern Avenue, police said.

Frank Schmidt of the 2100 block of Sunnythorn Road in Middle River was the rider of the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver and three adult passengers on the bus were not injured, police said.

The Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team is continuing their investigation, and anyone with information on the crash is asked to call 410-307-2020, police said.
