A woman was seriously injured Tuesday night in a double shooting at the Lansdowne Shopping Center on Hollins Ferry Road that also left a teenage male hurt, county police said.

The victims were talking to each other in the parking lot when two suspects walked up and shot them at around 7:30 p.m., police said. Both suspects fled the scene and police believe the shooting was targeted.

The adult female victim was shot in the upper body, police said. She was in serious condition at a local hospital. The teenager also suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body but has been released from the hospital, police said.
