Two adults and four juveniles were arrested early Friday morning for allegedly stealing 10 vehicles from car dealerships and repair shops in Baltimore and Baltimore County, police said.

The six were picked up along North Point Road after 3 a.m. Friday when police said they had received multiple calls from local businesses reporting burglaries and others who reported suspicious vehicles driving along Oakwood Road in Essex, police said.

Police said the suspects possessed keys that matched those of stolen vehicles that were abandoned along Oakwood Road when the six fled on foot to avoid being caught by responding officers.

Police said that while the suspects initially escaped, officers were able to catch up with them later when they received a 911 call about suspicious subjects walking along North Point Road.

In all, 10 vehicles were recovered – eight from Baltimore County and two from Baltimore City.
