Man fatally stabbed during fight at Essex bar

A man was fatally stabbed at the Brewers Landing Bar & Grill on Woodrow Avenue in Essex Sunday morning during a fight that left the suspect injured as well, county police said.  

Roger Paul Walker, 25, of the 400 block of Torner Road in Essex was pronounced dead at the Franklin Square Medical Center, police said.

Police said Shawn Alan Parks, 32, of the 200 block of Log House Way in Reisterstown was charged with first- and second-degree murder and is being held on no-bond status pending a bail review hearing. The incident occurred at about 1:41 a.m.

Parks was also treated at an area hospital for his injuries, according to police.
