An Essex man was killed Sunday night in a motorcycle accident that occurred on North Marlyn Avenue near Franklin Avenue, county police said.
Police said a man riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound on North Marlyn Avenue at about 9 p.m. when the vehicle drifted out of its lane and into the back of a parked and unoccupied Ford dump truck.
Joseph Richards, 64, of the 1000 block of Foxcroft Lane in Essex, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The Baltimore County Crash Team is investigating the incident.
