Baltimore police investigate three shootings, two deaths

 Baltimore Police were investigating three separate shootings, which left four people injured and two dead in different parts of the city.

Southwest District officers responded to a call around 9:20 p.m. Thursday in the 5100 block of Stafford Road. They found four men  suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were rushed to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

Anyone with information should contact detectives at 410-396-2488 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

Eastern District officers responded to a “Shot Spotter” alert in the 2500 block of E. Biddle Street at about 10:44 p.m. They found 28-year-old Shawanna Spann suffering from a gunshot wound to her head. She was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, said police.

Homicide detectives were investigating this murder and asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.

Nearly an hour later in the Eastern District, at around 11:58 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Aiken Street. Officers found an unidentified man unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
