City police investigate two shootings, two deaths

The Baltimore Police was investigating two separate shootings, one of which ended in two deaths.

Northeast District officers responded to a well-being check in the 2400 block of Bridgehampton Drive around 2:13 p.m. Wednesday. They arrived to find a 23-year-old woman and 27-year-old man unresponsive with gunshot wounds to the head.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

In the Southwest District, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of North Hilton Street at about 2:30 p.m.  They arrived to find a 41-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The primary officer applied a tourniquet to the man’s leg until medics arrived and rushed him to a local hospital, police said. 

Northeast District homicide detectives said anyone with information should contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

Southwest District detectives want anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2488 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
