The D.C. Metropolitan Police were investigating the shooting death of a 38-year-old man Monday in the 100 block of Q Street, NW.
Third District police officers responded to a call at 10:26 p.m. Monday and found Stanley Dawkins, 38, with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.
The Metropolitan Police Department was offering a reward up to $25,000 for anyone with information leading to a conviction. Police asked anyone with information to call 202-727-9099. Anonymous information can be sent through text message to 50411.
