Police investigate three separate shootings

Baltimore City Police were investigating three separate shootings involving a 21-year-old and two middle-aged men in different parts of the city.

Western District patrol officers responded to sounds of gunshots in the 2200 block of Ruskin Avenue and found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and body around 1:51 p.m. Monday.

Police said the young man remained unconscious at a local hospital.

Eastern District officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 2400 block of Greenmount Avenue just after midnight. Officers arrived to find a 43-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the hip. The man was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

And in another shooting in the Eastern District, officers found a 52-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his face at 12:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of Belair Road. Police said that the man was conscious as he was rushed to a local hospital, where his condition remains unknown.

Eastern District shooting detectives said they were looking for a black man who was wearing a black trench coat and a black knit cap.
