Police investigating Southwest District homicide

The Baltimore Police Department was investigating a Homicide Wednesday in the 200 block of S. Collins Avenue.

Officers arrived at S. Collins Avenue around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was  unresponsive and medics pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.

Police said, a short time later, two men, age 42 and 31, walked into area hospitals suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both men told detectives they were on Collins Avenue when they were shot.

Police said homicide detectives were investigating this incident and anyone with information should contact detectives at 410-396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-8667lockup.
