Baltimore County Police were investigating a fatal crash on Rossville Boulevard and Pulaski Highway in Rosedale.
Police identified the pedestrian as Arthur Joseph Jr., 45, whose last known address was in the 4800 block of Reisterstown Road in Baltimore. Joseph was rushed to MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police said an initial investigation found that at 5:49 a.m. Thursday, Joseph allegedly crossed Pulaski Highway at a crosswalk that was closed while under construction. He was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro going west on Pulaski Highway towards Rossville Boulevard.
The Baltimore County Crash Team was working to determine the factors involved in the fatal crash. The driver of the Chevrolet Camaro stayed at the scene of the crash, police said.
