Baltimore Police blocked off streets Tuesday after discovering a grenade between two cars in the Southwest neighborhood.
Police were called to the 2500 block of Ashton Street around 1:45 p.m. The officers arrived and found the grenade, emptied with parts missing. Baltimore Police Department’s Bomb Team collected the grenade and destroyed it.
The grenade was found to be inactive, though unclear how it ended up on the middle of the street, officials said.
