Baltimore City Police were investigating the death of a 60-year-old man who suffered massive head trauma when he was struck by a pickup truck on Tuesday.
Crash Team Investigators said the victim apparently was walking east in the street in the 1200 block of Bonaparte Avenue around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday when a silver pickup truck struck him from behind. The truck continued traveling east toward Harford Road. Officers said the vehicle may have damage to the passenger side headlight.
Police said the victim was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he died shortly after his arrival.
