A 21-year-old Baltimore man was treated at a local hospital after a shooting Saturday on Barkley Street, City Police said.

Baltimore City Police Officers responded to a call in the Northern District from an area hospital that a shooting victim with non-life-threatening wounds had checked in around 3:25 a.m. Saturday.

The 21-year-old man told police that he had been in his parked car on the 2700 block of Barkley Street waiting for a friend. When his friend approached his car, he said the friend was arguing with another man who appeared to be in his mid-20s, wearing a red T-shirt.

As the victim’s friend entered the car, he said the unknown man started to shoot through the front windshield of the car.

Police were investigating the incident.
