Arrest made in connection with February 25 murder

Baltimore County Police arrested a 25-year-old Parkville man in connection with the death of a man on Feb. 25.

Michael Kevin Richardson was charged with first-degree murder. Police said that Richardson apparently targeted the victim, Anthony Laron Richardson, Jr., of no relation to the suspect.

Anthony Richardson was shot in Comet Court in Parkville on Feb. 25. Police responded to a call about the shooting and found the victim. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

“Suspect Richardson is held on a no bail status pending a bail review at the Baltimore County Detention Center,” police said.

Police were asking anyone with information to call 410-887-2222 or the Baltimore County Police Department’ s Homicide Unit at 410-887-3943.
