Baltimore City Police on Tuesday were investigating a shooting on Ridgewood Avenue as Gov. Larry Hogan issued a plea to halt gun violence in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak.
Northwest District Police said an unidentified man with gunshot wounds was found around 5 p.m. Monday in the 3900 block of Ridgewood Avenue. The man was rushed to an area hospital and listed in critical condition.
The Homicide Unit was investigating the shooting because of the severity of the man’s wounds.
Hogan said the shooting victims are taking hospital beds needed for those suffering from the pandemic.
