Baltimore City Police on Wednesday were investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in Southwest Baltimore.

Police said 51-year-old Tyrone Taylor was walking in the 3000 block of Edmondson Avenue on Tuesday when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver did not remain at the scene of the crash. Taylor was taken to the nearest hospital and was pronounced dead due to his injuries, officers said.

Investigators were looking for the suspect who they speculate drove a dark colored pickup truck. The truck was last seen traveling east on Edmondson.

Anyone with information about the vehicle or occupants is asked to call detectives from the Baltimore Police CRASH Team at 410-396-2606.
