Baltimore County Police on Monday were investigating a shooting that left a 13-year-old dead and five injured at a Rosedale shopping plaza early Sunday.
Police said 13-year-old Rickie Tyrone Forehand of the 5900 block of Hillen Road in Towson was shot along with five others as they were leaving an event at the Triple Threat Elite Dance Studio. The group had been approached by several others in the parking lot in the 6200 block of Kenwood Avenue shortly after midnight Saturday.
Forehand was pronounced dead at the scene. The others were rushed to area hospitals but were expected to survive.
Detectives interviewed numerous people at the event and searched for video surveillance in the area.
