A 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the assault of a senior citizen about two weeks ago in the 500 block of Guilford Avenue but Baltimore City Police said on Sunday the charges may be increased.
Central district police arrested Rashad Peartree and charged him with first- and second-degree assault. But homicide detectives plan to ask the State’s Attorney to amend the charges because the victim died on Saturday.
Police said Louis Henson, 60, was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital on Feb. 18 but he died of his injuries at about 9:57 a.m. Saturday.
