City police officers were investigating a weekend shooting in northwest Baltimore.
Officers responded to a report from a nearby hospital that a 21-year-old shooting victim was admitted on Saturday afternoon. The unidentified victim was treated for several gunshot wounds to the torso, police said.
An investigation of the shooting by Baltimore city detectives found that the victim was sitting in a car in the 5500 block of Cadillac Avenue around 3 p.m. Saturday when someone fired a gun inside the car. The victim then drove himself to the hospital.
Baltimore City officers were searching for the suspect.
