The body of a Northeast Baltimore resident was found in water alongside 100 Reedbird Ave. on Monday, Baltimore City Police said.

Authorities said 29-year-old Isaiah Drummond first was reported missing by his family on Jan. 28, after he had not been seen for eight days. An investigation revealed evidence of foul play at Drummond’s home in the 2500 block of Cecil Avenue, officers said.

On Monday, officers located Drummond’s roommate, 28-year-old Epenetus Henrique, who confessed to stabbing Drummond and hiding his body. Henrique led officers to Drummond’s remains, which were taken to the medical examiner awaiting an autopsy.

Henrique was arrested, charged with first-degree murder and is waiting in Central Booking for a court commissioner.
