A 40-year-old former hospital employee has been arrested and charged with a number of sex offenses, including the sexual abuse of a minor, Baltimore County Police said Monday.
Donald Joseph Benson Jr., of the 3400 block of Park Falls Drive in Baltimore, was found with explicit images of a juvenile female being sexually assaulted in September of 2016, officers said.
Detectives said the minor was a patient at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, where Benson was an employee at the time of the assault. The discovery came following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Benson may be involved in the viewing of child pornography, authorities said.
