DC Metropolitan police have arrested a Capital Heights, Maryland man in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old in late October.
Police officers arrested 26-year-old Tony Eugene Morgan on Friday and charged him with first-degree murder while armed.
On Oct. 20, officers responded to reports of gun shots around 1:57 p.m, in the 3500 block of Wheeler Road, SE. Police said 19-year-old Malik McCloud of Southeast Washington was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.
