A 14-year-old boy remains in critical condition Tuesday after a hit and run accident in the 4300 block of Frederick Avenue, according to Baltimore City Police.

Police said the teenager was struck by a black Chevy Suburban as it traveled west when the youth was walking across the street around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 22. The driver fled the scene after impact. The boy was rushed to a local area hospital.

Detectives from the Baltimore CRASH Team reported that the Suburban sustained damages to the front grill. Police were investigating the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2606.
