Baltimore City Police Tuesday were investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy who was a passenger in a 2006 Infinity when it crashed into a van on Annapolis Road in South Baltimore.

Police said the teen was traveling with three other teens at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Annapolis Road. An 18-year-old man was driving the Infinity G35X south when he apparently lost control and struck the 2016 Ford van, which was traveling North.

The teens and the 29-year-old truck driver were rushed to local hospitals. A 17-year-old car passenger was listed in critical condition. The truck and car drivers, as well as a 15-year-old car passenger, were treated at the hospital and released. The 16-year-old died at the hospital.

Detectives from the Baltimore Police CRASH Team were investigating the accident. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Baltimore Police CRASH Team at 410-396-2606
