DC Metropolitan police have made seven arrests, including five teenage boys allegedly involved in burglaries, assaults and a kidnapping.

On Monday, detectives from the Sixth District arrested two boys, aged 15 and 17, in connection with a burglary of an unoccupied house in the 3700 block of Foote Street, NE. The juveniles broke into the home around 3:16 p.m., took property and then fled the scene.

Police charged the teens with burglary two.

Also on Monday, 35-year-old Terry Lee Smith of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with assault with intent to kill while armed with a knife. Third District detectives said that Smith allegedly brandished a knife while arguing with several people around 12:25 a.m.  in the 700 block of Harvard Street NW and stabbed one of the victims several times. He then assaulted a second victim and fled the scene.

DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services rushed the first victim to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The investigation has revealed that the incident was domestic in nature, police said.

On Tuesday, police arrested 38-year-old Donta Wilson of Southeast DC in connection with a burglary on Oct. 12. He too was charged with burglary two.

Detectives from the Seventh District accused Wilson of breaking into a garage in the 2400 block of Ainger Place SE around 10:49 a.m. He allegedly took property and fled the scene.

Three arrests were made in connection with separate assaults, including one with the intent to kill.

Detectives from the First District said David Roche, 24, of Northeast DC, and 19-year-old Malik Arif of Owings Mills, Maryland, were arrested Tuesday and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in connection with an argument around 6:35 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of I Street, NE.

Police said the two argued inside of a home on I Street and both brandished handguns and shot each other. Both men were rushed to local hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police said anyone with information should call police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.

Police said that a kidnapping on Nov. 10  in the 4700 block of First Street NE has led to the recent arrest of 17-year-old Ethan Cunningham, who was charged as an adult with kidnapping and armed robbery with a gun.
