Arrests made in business break-in, assault

Metropolitan Police detectives announced on Friday two arrests in connection with a break-in of a Georgia Avenue business and an assault with a dangerous weapon.

Police arrested 49-year-old Tony Ray Arrington of Northwest DC for forcible entry of a business in the 5200 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. and removing property at 2:08 a.m. on Tuesday. He was charged on Thursday with burglary two of an establishment.  

Detectives  of the Sixth District on Friday announced the arrest of 23-year-old Robert Dunbar Jr. of Southeast DC. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after an argument with a man around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 4200 block of Gault Place, NE. Dunbar allegedly brandished a handgun and shot at the victim. No injuries were reported.
