DC Metropolitan Police on Thursday made an arrest in a fatal shooting that occurred three-years ago in the 600 block of Nicholson Street, NE.

Jahmar Thaxter, 28, of Northeast, DC, was taken to the Homicide Branch and charged with 1st degree murder while armed – felony murder.

Police said the shooting occurred around 5:06 p.m  on Dec. 8, 2016, in a house on Nicholson Street, NE. Members of the Fourth District responded to a call and found 26-year-old Victor Bolden of Northeast DC unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds.
