Baltimore County Police have pulled a vehicle out of a pond in Stansbury Park 10 years after it was reported stolen.

Police said the department received a tip that there may be a vehicle in Dundalk after it was spotted on satellite images. The County Police Dive Team arrived at the park Wednesday and searched the waters, discovering the gold 2007 Chevrolet Malibu empty and immersed in the pond.

Police said the vehicle’s identification number (VIN) revealed its make and model. The car had been stolen in Baltimore City in 2009 but was not linked to any other crimes.
