Two 23-year-old men were being held Wednesday by Baltimore City Police in connection with the armed robbery of a woman at a BP Gas station in the 5300 block of York Road.
Asante Walston and Tony Russel both were charged with armed robbery and were in booking awaiting a court commissioner, police said.
Police said a 54-year-old woman reported that she was approached at about 5:15 a.m. Tuesday by two men who held a blunt object to her side. They robbed her of $15 and left. The woman gave descriptions of the men to the officer who arrived on scene. The officer recalled seeing the suspects on the way to the station and they were apprehended.
