Baltimore City police are investigating three separate shootings that took place Saturday.

The first occurred in the 500 block of Sheridan Avenue around 12:48 a.m., police said. Police said a 28-year-old male suffered from a gunshot wound to the upper left thigh and a 39-year-old female suffered from a gunshot wound to the left leg as well.

Both victims were transported by medics to a local hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police officials say they are currently interviewing the victims and witnesses.

In another shooting on Saturday, police said they responded to a shot spotter alert in the 1900 block of Braddish Avenue at around 2:22 a.m.

Officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from gunshot wound to the left side of his back. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is said to be in serious condition.

Detectives said the victim was picking up two people at a home in the 1900 block of Braddish Avenue. Police said the driver and one patron got into a verbal altercation leading to a shot being fired.

Detectives were able to locate the suspects, two females, who are now in police custody awaiting charges, officials said.

Police are also investigating an incident in which a 20-year-old male shooting victim walked into an area hospital, police said.

Officers said the victim suffered from a gunshot wound to his right elbow. The victim claims he was somewhere on Linwood Avenue when someone walked up behind him and shot him, police said.

Detectives have yet to locate the crime scene.
