Three unrelated shootings under investigation

Baltimore City police are investigating three separate shootings that took place earlier this week.

The first occurred in the 1600 block of Westwood Avenue around 8:16 p.m. on Monday, police said. Police said a 35-year-old male suffered from a gunshot wound to the back.

The victim refused to give any further information and was transported by medics to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

In another shooting on Monday evening, police said the incident occurred at a gas station located in the 6100 block of Reisterstown Road around 9:13 p.m.

Officers located a 23-year-old male suffering from gunshot wound to his arm and back. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is said to be conscious and alert. Detectives from the North West district are investigating the incident and have no suspects.

Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Palermo Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Police said a 19-year-old male suffered from a gunshot wound to his arm. The victim is in good condition at a local hospital, police said.

Officials have no information on a suspect or any potential motive.
