A Middle River man died Tuesday after succumbing to injuries sustained in a house fire, police said.
The victim, Forest Richard Brady, 67, was the only person in the home at the time of the fire. Brady lived in the home where the fire occurred, police said.
Baltimore County Fire Department units were dispatched to a single-story home in Contact Court at 12:16 p.m. for a dwelling fire with rescue. Investigators have determined that the fire started in the living room.
Firefighters discovered that the smoke alarms in the home were not working. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, police said.
