Police are offering a reward to anyone who can identify two suspects who police believe might be connected to a burglary at Pepe’s, a family-owned restaurant in the Mt. Washington area, earlier this month.
The surveillance video caught the suspects driving alongside Pepe’s in a white sedan on Oct. 4, police said.
Police said the suspect’s caused a significant amount of damage when they broke in through the side door and tried to gain access to the cash register. When they couldn’t open it, police said, they fled with the entire drawer and headed southbound on Falls Road.
Police are asking for any information the public might have on the suspects. Information can be sent to metro crime stoppers or police. Anonymous tips can be sent by phone, online or via mobile app.
