An 88-year-old woman died Thursday from injuries she suffered in a car accident last month, police said.
Mary Winfred Devol of Reisterstown was seriously injured after a car accident on Sept 30, police said.
Police said Devol failed to stop at a red light on Westminster Pike at Butler Road when her Chevrolet Cruz rear-ended at Dodge Ram stopped at the light.
Police are investigating the possibility that Devol suffered a medical emergency which resulted in the accident.
Devol was transported to Sinal Hospital, where she remained until her death Thursday morning.
