A man was hospitalized for treatment of an injury sustained in a shooting Friday morning, police said.
Authorities were called to the 1600 block of Lyle Court in Parkville at 10:17 a.m. for a subject with a gunshot wound. The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, police said.
While officers searched the area, roadways were closed and Halstead Academy went on “lockout” status, police said. The suspect was not located.
The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is currently investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 410-307-2020 and may remain anonymous.
