A man died Wednesday from gunshot wounds he suffered earlier that day in Baltimore, police said.
The victim was found laying on the ground in the 800 block of West Lexington Street, police said. The man possessed a handgun, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma, police said.
Homicide detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation, police said.
