A 48-year-old man was shot in the back after he gave three teenagers a ride in his vehicle, city police said.
The incident occurred at 3:22 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Park Avenue, police said.
Police said the victim had given a ride to two teenage females and a teenage male. The teenagers gave the victim $5 when they arrived at their destination and then began to assault him, according to police.
One of the teens took out an unspecified caliber gun and shot the victim in the back, police said.
The man’s condition is unknown at this time.
