Baltimore City Police on Monday asked the public for help in locating a 21-year-old man who allegedly was involved in the shooting of three women and one man in late August.

Keith Wilkenson of the 2400 block of Calverton Heights allegedly shot and killed 51-year-old Karen Lovings, and wounded a 23-year-old man, a 22-year-old woman and a second unidentified woman on Aug. 30, in the 1600 block of East 29th Street.

Police said a resident flagged down a patrol officer around 3:13 a.m. and directed him to the home where Lovings and the other unidentified victims were discovered. Both the 23-year-old man and unidentified woman were rushed to area hospitals. Minutes later, the 22-year-old woman walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds, police said.

Lovings died at the scene of the shooting, police said.

Homicide detectives investigated and learned that officers had been called to the same home the previous night when a dispute erupted.

Wilkenson should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Anyone with information should call WATF detectives at 410-637-8970 or simply dial 911, police said. Callers who wish to remain anonymous should call Metro Crime Stoppers tip-line, at 1-866-7Lockup or 911, police said.
