Baltimore City Police were searching Monday for a 33-year-old man who escaped from Good Samaritan Hospital while officers were taking him to Central Booking.
Christopher Clanton, Sr. was arrested last Thursday near Harford Road in connection with a protective order placed again him. Police said the 6-foot, 165-pound Clanton violated terms of the order.
On the way to Central Booking, police stopped by Good Samaritan Hospital so Clanton could be treated for a pre-existing medical condition. He escaped early Friday during his hospital stay.
Police said anyone with information should contact the department. Clanton is known to hang around the Harford Road corridor, police said.
