Uncle Wiggly’s, a popular sandwich and ice cream shop in the 6900 block of York Road in the Towson Precinct, was burglarized overnight, police said Thursday.

Security cameras caught the man trying to steal cash from the register but found it empty. Instead, police said he took a snack, a drink and some personal property left by employees.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the security footage should contact Baltimore County Police  detectives at 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may submit tips by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP. Metro Crime Stoppers is offering rewards for anyone with information connected to the case.
