A Pikesville woman was killed in a single-car crash in Owings Mills Thursday afternoon, police said.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger, 72-year-old Harriet Lee Tamres of the 7200 block of Chalkstone Drive in Pikesville, was pronounced dead on scene, police said.
Police said the driver of a 2016 Nissan Sentra was backing out of a driveway in the unit-block of Cliffholme Road when the car veered off the road and slid down an embankment.
The car overturned and was on the passenger inside of a stream. Baltimore County Fire and Rescue found two people trapped and freed them, police said.
