A 53-year-old Annapolis man has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of a Baltimore man one week ago, Baltimore City Police said.
Douglas Cantrell was being held without bail at Central Booking after his arrest on Monday, police said.
Cantrell was accused of fatally stabbing Vernon Jacobs, 51, of the 400 block of Maude Avenue after a verbal altercation on May 1 in the 3500 block of Helmstetter Street, police said.
